Data You Give Us Directly
Search forms on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies sponsored results. We do not store a copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to include and use them only to answer you.
Data Collected Automatically
Like most websites, the hosting system records standard server-log data, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review that data in aggregate to keep the site stable and understand which Campbell records pages are useful. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use This Data
We use the information described above to operate the site, troubleshoot problems, measure traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell visitor lists. We also do not create profiles of individual users.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to Campbell, Santa Clara County, California, court, library, and third-party search resources. Each outside site has its own privacy policy, and information you submit there is controlled by that site's rules, not ours. Sponsored search results are also provided by a third-party company.
Who May See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it. Otherwise, we do not share visitor data.
How Data Is Protected
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes listed above. Because we do not operate user accounts, this site does not hold a password or profile for you.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor sent personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a website holds about you. California also maintains data-broker privacy programs through the California Privacy Protection Agency, including registered data-broker information and the Delete Request and Opt-out Platform. Those tools apply to commercial data brokers, not to official records held by agencies. Because we hold very little, most requests are narrow: we can search our contact mailbox and server logs and remove what we find. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Campbell, Santa Clara County, Santa Clara Superior Court, or California agencies are outside our control; removal or redaction requests for those records must go to the custodian office.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
